Believe me I don't want to

keep you all in the dark. But I have to because I don't know. I called to today and left a message to see if we can know the total but he hasn't called me back.

The 'pink slip' is a request for evidence. They justed asked for a few more docs. We overnighted it to them and we got an email from our senator's office today that our case worker approved us and sent our paperwork off for final approval. Yay!!! We are super excited!

I did run into some problems with apostilling our docs in NM. I'm hoping we can get that cleared up quickly! I'm also having a heck of a time getting our docs reviewed. It is supposed to be 48 hours but we are averaging 1 week. I know everybody is super busy and I don't want to be a bother but I'm anxious!

pink slip

I'm sorry for keeping you all waiting about the dollar amount of our super surprise! If it is any consolation, I'm right there with you... well except I have a ball park figure. Anyhow, I turned 30 last week and our crazy, very close friends gave us $1000 towards the adoption. Yahoo!! How awesome is that. Thank you Jesus!! I haven't updated the butterflies yet but I will soon.

Other news... we got the dreaded pink slip from USCIS. I got everything together and sent it off today. I also mailed some documents to be apostilled in another state. We got about 15 docs notarized today, four of them won't pass inspection though and we are gonna have to redo them. By the grace of God I have found a few oopses! in our home study. I'm grateful to be finding them now and not later!

I'm going to make some phone calls tomorrow and hopefully be able to share with you the pee in your pants good news. I'm telling you now so you can prepare. I wouldn't want anyones couches soiled. ;o)

Have a great and blessed tomorrow!

Missing

I've been missing my boys SO badly the last few day. I am dreading leaving my other little guys but I ache to hold Yuri and Bohdi. I ache to tell them I love them and kiss them and let them know they will not be alone anymore.

Come on paperwork!!

Yippee!!

God is Amazing!! There was a vote today, in the country where we are adopting our boys, about adoptions and whether to suspend or change the parameters of international adoptions. We were a little concerned but God knew what was going to happen. It was suspended until an unknown time!! Yay! How cool is God?!

I can't wait to share with you all the dollar amount of our super surprise. I still don't know what it is but I'm so very grateful and thankful!

Half news

I'm sorry for keeping you all in the dark. I still haven't gotten all the details but I can tell you part of the news. In response to the birth announcements we sent out, a large sum of money has been given to our old church by various anonymous donors. I don't know the exact total yet but should know by next week.

God is amazing! This has been His deal from the get go and He has been so faithful throughout this whole process. We, being human and all, were a bit worried about the money situation but God is working it all out. To God be ALL the Glory!!!

Fingerprints postponed.

Well I guess there is a hurricane or tropical storm hitting us. We don't have a TV and only get our news online and we haven't really kept up with it this weekend. Not that it would have mattered we would be getting drenched with rain whether we knew it was coming or not. The point is that it is ALOT of rain!! Crazy amounts and.... today was our scheduled USCIS fingerprint appointment.

The one your not supposed to be late to, the really important one. Yup that one. So we show up, about 5 minutes early and wouldn't you know they had lost power. The guy said that the electric company didn't know when it would come back on and said they were having trouble all over the city. He said we could wait and hope the power comes back on or just come back. He signed our papers and we will try again tomorrow.

Just a little hiccup!

Moving on!

This is a pic of Caius 4 days after surgery! Doesn't he look great. Thank you all for your prayers and support. It feels so good to have the heart surgery behind and now we look forward to getting our boys home! Yee Haw!! We are very excited.

Our USCIS fingerprint appointment is today. My dear friend Tracy is on her way to get some more certified copies of our marriage certificate since the first ones didn't pass inspection. yuck!

Anyhow, God is so good! We had a lazy, kinda crumby weekend. We were all sick! Even though it was nice to just hang with my boys, I wish everyone would have felt better. Hopefully we are on the down side of this sickness. But even with all of that God still worked and when I looked at our Family Sponsorship Page today what did I see? Holy cow! $2450! Plus my girlfriend bought some no knots swag and way over paid. :O) You gotta check out our Butterflies!
