Day 10- Be still and know

Anticipating zoom with daddy!!

Now if we could only get Asher and Caius in the mix we would be in Heaven!

Look at him pucker! I love this little guy!

His bootie fell off last night so I got a picture of a baby foot. I love baby feet! Look at those toes, Just like Caius'.

Cuddling last night. What a sweetheart. Completely content to sit with his daddy.

We serve an awesome God!! He who gives peace beyond ALL understanding! He just kept telling me over and over , "be still and Know that I am God". Da. Then today during my quiet time as I was praying for my babies, the nannies, the judge , the vote, this country, God took me to a verse that ended saying, "God will do the fighting for you, all you have to do is be still". Wow!! How cool is that!! When I shared the verse with Josh he said, "Yeah, if God is for us who can be against us?" I love my hubby.

So in this storm, we are praising God. In the midst of uncertainty, we have peace. From day one this has been all GOD. He called us to come to these little boys, He broke down all the barriers, He raised the money, He facilitated everything, He will see us through this. Just in case you are wondering we don't have any info on the vote.

So we visited our babies last night and this morning. They are as precious as ever. Bohdan laughs when I try to wipe sleep out of his eye. I kept it up and then he grunted at me like, "Mom I'm done playing that game!" Yes sir.

Last night we just sat and cuddled mostly. they are generally more tired at the evening visits. This morning they were hungry but still played. Josh would zoom Yuri up over his head and Yuri would laugh and laugh, waving his hands. Josh would bring him down and get ready to go up again. The anticipation of it all made Yuri giggle and laugh almost as much as the flight did.

So we play more than just drop the ball, we play drop everything. We have quite a few toys, 3 of my bracelts and anything else light enough for them to pick in a pile and the boys make quick work of picking each item up one at a time and dropping it on the floor. Sometimes they will transfer from one hand to the other but generally it is straight to the floor. We have to make sure that they can't reach the camera or phone because nothing is too good to be thrown on the floor. LOL!

I just love it when God does a miracle for you right in front of your eyes. Last night Yuri had a terrible cough. Both boys have a little cough but this one was bad and deep. Then he would grind his teeth, move his lips in a kissing motion and then breath in and it would make an awful sound. It bothered Josh and I really bad so we prayed and laid hands on the boys. We prayed not only about the cough but everything else concerning the boys and the adoption. When we got done we sat there and realized that Yuri wasn't coughing anymore. Like that Bam!! answered prayer! I know God answers many prayers but my pea brain usually doesn't catch it until way after the fact so it was cool to see it happen in real time.
So there are two Nannies that I have a little relationship with. I'm hoping to get their names and adresses so I can keep them updated on the boys. Josh translated some text asking what we could bring to help the orphans. They said diapers. So that is what we have been doing. A pack each visit. I was pleasantly suprised today when the nanny took me back and after much miming and pointing told me that they need a water pot for the boy's room with a long extension cord to plug it in with. Now I just have to find where to buy this. If anyone has any ideas please share. Thanks and love to you all!

  4. I had a water pot like that when I lived in the Czech Republic. They are popular items in eastern Europe - you should be able to find them at a department store. Do they have Tescos near your current location? BTW, I am loving your story and praying for everything to go smoothly. Your boys are precious, truly a gift from God.
