Day 5- our first train ride

I'm so thankful for you all. I can't tell you how much your tips, advice, prayer and support mean to Josh and I. It's great to see and read your comments on my posts. I find myself checking my email often.

Our journey is about to get much harder as we travel to region where the orphanage is located. I'm relying on God's grace to help us process what we will see. Please pray with us for our adoption to be expeditied in only the way God can do. We are praying that we can have court before the vote goes up. I don't know what is going to happen but my God does, and I can rest knowing He is in control.

We are taking the night train to region and then hopefully will be going to the orphange in the morning. Which means the next I post I should have pictures of us and our boys! But for now I will leave you with pics of the pics that we saw yesterday of our little guys.

Baby pic of Yuri.

Yuri at about 18 months

Bohdan at probably a year. Look at the face!!

  2. Ohhh Autumn they are cute beyond words, I'm seriously crying! In the second pic, Yuri has the same expression on his face that he has in one of the pics of when he is older - how cute is that?! And Bohdi, sweet litle Bohdi...so tiny. Can't wait til you can get him home and we start seeing him filled out! Your 10 day wait has been weighing heavily on my mind and heart, I have been praying that it will be waived (I know it's unheard of but...with the vote coming up and these precious little boys in the balance, I am praying for a judge with a soft heart). Waiting anxiously for your next post!!!

  3. Would you all just hurry up AND GET THERE so I can see pictures of those boys???? I'm getting a bit impatient over here to see and know that all is well with them.

Seriously - Praying - praying!! Your hearts will struggle with all that you will see - you will weep and rejoice and weep again. Broken hearts are good. Remember that. It brings us closer to understanding God's heart. His desires. His passion. So I'm praying and holding my breath to see those tiny little guys. Rejoicing - ever rejoicing that you are there to bring them life and hope!

  8. What a wonderful blessing to have their baby pictures! You will treasure those forever!

I am thinking of you constantly and re-living our first trip to the orphanage. Its out in the country and then kind of in a neighborhood - when you see the colorful fence then you know you are close! :)

  12. So glad that you were able to get photos of their younger photos. They are so CUTE!!

Can't wait for you to have your boys in your arms. Of course selfishly I can't wait to see pictures of your boys in your arms, but I'll have to wait. Your boys however have waited long enough, and now you are there!!!!! I am so happy and excitied for them too.

Give them a little bit of love from all of us too:)
